When is Personal Endorsement SPAM?

Hello fellow networkers, I’m curious as to what you classify as spam?
Last week I sent a couple of email broadcasts to my list on my Aweber account and I got spam complaints.
One of my emails was to check out some amazing video’s packed with free content that yes - sells a course - but gives you enough free information to figure it out yourself. I fully believe in the product because I do what it preaches myself, which is help local small business’ get found online. But the ideas I’m getting from these FREE video’s are amazing and giving me more than enough ideas to make even more money in this untapped market using the skills I learned tring to market Power5Plan. The other email broadcast I sent out was a simple email giving the link to my weekly LIVE uStream training show. Here’s the link again if you haven’t seen it yet - Power5Plan Funnel E-Book. In this show I share some nuggets I picked up over the years for free and some people who opted into my list were calling it spam - WTF?
What I want to know is why don’t they just unsubscribe instead? I’m giving and endorsing nothing but pure value. These are the tools and strategies I use for my own business. I teach you how to build a list, create a relationship with your list an sell to your list - YES SELL! - But I only sell products I believe in, so is that considered SPAM?
